A military baby on-the-way! With the challenges of military life, and tight finances, the baby on-the-way and mama-to-be could use a little spoiling. Treat her to a special baby shower with all the trimmings. Operation Baby Shower.
After finding a convenient location for the shower, and gathering a guest list from the mother-to-be, your military shower invitations will set the theme for the party. Be sure to include registry information to avoid duplicate gifts. Use your military invitations as a guide for decorations, colors and even dessert!
Choose plates and table cover colors to match the invitation, and have a cake or cupcakes made using the party theme. Camoflage is the easiest way to carry through your military theme. Consider using camoflage bandanas wrapped as diapers around some teddy bears for a fun touch. These are found in many colors, including pink and blue at large craft stores.
